How Ikaevohandles your information. We keep it minimal: we don't sell data and we don't run tracking cookies.
This policy explains what information Ikaevo(“we,” “us,” “our”) collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. We keep data collection minimal. We don't run advertising trackers, and we don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
Information you give us
You choose what to send, and we receive it when you:
- Use the contact form or email us: your name, email address, company, and whatever you tell us about your business.
- Use a free tool (the readiness scorecard, ROI calculator, use-case finder, or recommendation tool) or download a guide: the email address you enter, plus the inputs or answers you provide to generate a result. The result is shown to you on screen; we store your email and inputs so we can give you the file you asked for and follow up by email if it makes sense.
Please don't send sensitive personal information (for example health, payment-card, or government-ID details). We don't need it and don't ask for it.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs: our hosting provider records standard technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, and timestamps, to run and secure the site.
- Analytics: we record anonymous, aggregated activity (page views, scroll depth, and which calls to action are clicked). This uses no cookies and isn't tied to your identity. It runs partly on our own infrastructure and partly through privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics from our hosting provider.
- Theme preference: your light or dark choice is stored only in your own browser, never on our servers.
Cookies
We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and our analytics is cookieless. The only cookies we set are strictly necessary sign-in cookies for people who log in: us, in the site's admin area, and clients using the private portal. People browsing the public site are never given a cookie, so the public site needs no cookie banner.
How we use information
We use what we collect to:
- Reply to you, understand your needs, and scope and deliver any work you ask us to do.
- Send you a result, guide, or resource you asked for.
- Follow up about our services where appropriate.
- Operate, secure, debug, and improve the site.
- Meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases are: performing a contract or taking steps at your request; our legitimate interests in running an honest business, balanced against your rights; your consent where we ask for it (for example, marketing follow-up), which you can withdraw at any time; and compliance with legal obligations.
We don't use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you. Our free tools only return general estimates based on what you enter.
If we email you about our services and you'd rather we didn't, just tell us and we'll stop. Any such email also includes a clear way to opt out.
How we share it
We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business, under agreements that limit them to that purpose:
- Hosting and cookieless analytics: Vercel.
- Email delivery: Resend.
- Lead and event storage: Vercel KV (Upstash).
- Client portal accounts, project data, and file storage: Supabase.
- Bot protection and client file delivery: Cloudflare (Turnstile and R2).
- Payment processing for client invoices: Stripe.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a business sale or reorganisation. In that case we'll require the recipient to honour this policy.
International transfers
We're based in the United States, and our providers may process your information in the United States and other countries whose data-protection laws differ from your own. Where required (for example for EU, UK, or Canadian data), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to protect it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and lead details for as long as we're in contact or working together, and for a reasonable period afterward for our records and legal obligations. Aggregated, anonymous analytics may be kept indefinitely because it isn't tied to you. You can ask us to delete your personal information sooner at any time.
How we protect it
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS, with HSTS enforced), a strict content security policy, and restricted, authenticated access to our admin area. No website or method of storage is completely secure, so we can't promise absolute security, but we take it seriously.
Your rights and choices
You can ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email us at info@ikaevo.ai or reach us through our contact form. Depending on where you live, you may also have these rights:
- EU and UK (GDPR): access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, objection to processing, and withdrawing consent. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We don't sell or share your personal information, and we won't discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
- Canada (PIPEDA): the right to access your information, challenge its accuracy, and understand how it's used and disclosed.
To exercise any of these, email us at info@ikaevo.ai or reach us through our contact form. We may need to verify your identity, and we'll respond within the time the law allows.
California: categories of personal information
For California residents, here are the categories of personal information (as the CCPA and CPRA define them) we have collected in the past 12 months, and why:
- Identifiers: your name, email address, and IP address. Used to reply to you, send a result or file you asked for, and run and secure the site.
- Commercial and professional information: your company, the topic and message you send us, and the inputs and answers you provide to our free tools. Used to understand your needs and scope any work.
- Internet and electronic activity: pages you view, scroll depth, which calls to action you click, and your browser and device type. Used, in anonymous and aggregated form, to operate and improve the site.
We collect these directly from you and automatically from your device or browser, as described above. We don't collect sensitive personal information, financial-account or payment-card numbers, government-ID numbers, biometric data, or precise geolocation. We don't sell or share any of these categories, and we keep each only for the periods set out in “How long we keep it.” Because we don't sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of, and we honour recognised browser privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control where they apply.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and isn't directed to children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email us at info@ikaevo.aiand we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. We'll post the new version here and update the date above.
